This is Cinderwing3D's own commercial licence, as their terms read when we checked them on 7 Oct 2026. Designers change their terms, so check the current version before you rely on it.

How you get the licence

  • A monthly subscription on Patreon, MyMiniFactory or Thangs. Their website says all three include the commercial licence.
  • After subscribing, fill in their Authorized Seller form, linked in the welcome post.
  • Previous months' models are not included in the subscription.

What it lets you do

  • Selling 3D prints of any Cinderwing3D design while your subscription is active.
  • Selling to customers directly, or wholesale to local shops.

What you must do

  • You must print the products yourself. Outsourcing the printing is not allowed.

What it does not allow

  • Sharing or selling the digital files.
  • Mass production or dropshipping through third-party manufacturers. They name Temu, Alibaba and AliExpress, and their website says they do not condone sales of their designs there.

When it ends

  • Their membership terms say the commercial licence ends if you cancel your subscription or break their policies. They do not say what happens to prints you have already made, so ask them before it matters.

What to keep

If anyone ever asks whether you were licensed when you sold a print, these are what answer it. Save them as you go, not when someone asks.

  • Your subscription receipts, showing which months you were subscribed. Your permission lasts only while you are, so this is what proves when you were covered.
  • A copy of the licence terms as they read when you subscribed, and each time they change.
  • Confirmation that you filled in their Authorized Seller form.
  • Where you got each design you sell, and when.

The authority

This page sums up Cinderwing3D's terms in our own words. Their terms are the authority, and where the two differ, theirs win. Read Cinderwing3D's terms

Read from their Commercial License membership description on Thangs, in their own words, and their website. That description links to a full Terms of Use which we could not open, so read that too when you subscribe.
