This is Printed Obsession's own commercial licence, as their terms read when we checked them on 10 Oct 2026. Designers change their terms, so check the current version before you rely on it.

How you get the licence

  • The commercial tier on their Patreon. Their page calls it the Commercial, Merchant and Trader tier in different places. It is the one tier whose description includes a commercial licence.
  • When you join it they send you a licensing agreement to sign. We could not read it, as it is not public, so read it before you start selling.
  • Their other tiers are for personal use only.

What it lets you do

  • Selling physical prints of Printed Obsession models while you are in the commercial tier.

What you must do

  • Their page introduces the tier as a way to sell prints to friends and family. Their terms say only that it allows sales of 3D printed models, and the agreement you sign may set limits we have not seen.

What it does not allow

  • Mass production.
  • Offering the models in crowdfunding, board game or similar campaigns.
  • Sharing, redistributing, renting or transferring the files.
  • Editing the files or making remixes. Cutting and resizing them to fit your printer is allowed.

When it ends

  • The licence lasts as long as you stay in the commercial tier. Move to a lower tier or stop your subscription and it ends immediately.
  • Nothing is said about prints you have already made, so ask them before you change tier.

Common questions

Can I sell prints of Printed Obsession miniatures?

Yes, while you are in their commercial tier on Patreon, once you have signed the licensing agreement they send. Their other tiers are personal use only.

What happens if I drop to a lower Printed Obsession tier?

The commercial licence ends immediately. Nothing is said about prints already made, so ask before you change tier.

Can I use Printed Obsession models in a Kickstarter?

No. Their terms rule out crowdfunding, board game and similar campaigns, and mass production, on every tier.

Where they publish

How licensing works on each platform where Printed Obsession publishes:

What to keep

If anyone ever asks whether you were licensed when you sold a print, these are what answer it. Save them as you go, not when someone asks.

  • Your subscription receipts, showing which months you were subscribed. Your permission lasts only while you are, so this is what proves when you were covered.
  • A copy of the licence terms as they read when you subscribed, and each time they change.
  • The licensing agreement you signed.
  • Where you got each design you sell, and when.

The authority

This page sums up Printed Obsession's terms in our own words. Their terms are the authority, and where the two differ, theirs win. Read Printed Obsession's terms

Read from the tier descriptions on their Patreon membership page and the Terms and Conditions on their Patreon home page. The agreement sent to commercial tier members is not public and was not read.

Read from Printed Obsession's own terms on 10 Oct 2026.
