Can I sell prints of Printed Obsession designs?
Printed Obsession's commercial tier on Patreon lets you sell prints of their miniatures while you stay in it. Drop to a lower tier and it ends at once.
This is Printed Obsession's own commercial license, as their terms read when we checked them on 10 Oct 2026. Designers change their terms, so check the current version before you rely on it.
On this page
How you get the license
- The commercial tier on their Patreon. Their page calls it the Commercial, Merchant and Trader tier in different places. It is the one tier whose description includes a commercial license.
- When you join it they send you a licensing agreement to sign. We could not read it, as it is not public, so read it before you start selling.
- Their other tiers are for personal use only.
What it lets you do
- Selling physical prints of Printed Obsession models while you are in the commercial tier.
What you must do
- Their page introduces the tier as a way to sell prints to friends and family. Their terms say only that it allows sales of 3D printed models, and the agreement you sign may set limits we have not seen.
What it does not allow
- Mass production.
- Offering the models in crowdfunding, board game or similar campaigns.
- Sharing, redistributing, renting or transferring the files.
- Editing the files or making remixes. Cutting and resizing them to fit your printer is allowed.
When it ends
- The license lasts as long as you stay in the commercial tier. Move to a lower tier or stop your subscription and it ends immediately.
- Nothing is said about prints you have already made, so ask them before you change tier.

Where they publish
How licensing works on each platform where Printed Obsession publishes:
What to keep
If anyone ever asks whether you were licensed when you sold a print, these are what answer it. Save them as you go, not when someone asks.
- Your subscription receipts, showing which months you were subscribed. Your permission lasts only while you are, so this is what proves when you were covered.
- A copy of the license terms as they read when you subscribed, and each time they change.
- The licensing agreement you signed.
- Where you got each design you sell, and when.
